SPS IPC Drives is an internationally recognized trade fair for Industrial Components in which Katlax is participating for last 6 years. Katlax was in Nuremberg from 27 to 29 November 2018 (Hall 10.1/Stand 146). This year also we presented our entire connectivity product range successfully.
SPS covers the entire spectrum of smart and digital automation – from simple sensors to intelligent solutions, from what is feasible today to the vision of a fully digitalized industrial world. The objective of this exhibition is to present automation, in order to think about the industry of tomorrow, industry 4.0.
Presentation of Katlax products
On this occasion, we have presented all of our connectivity products available in the catalog, adapting to a wide range of industries.
We particularly highlighted the following products:
- X-coded M12 connectors suitable for high speed data transmission for Ethernet application and are standardized to IEC 61076-2-109. These X-coded connectors meet CAT6 specifications with data transmission up to 10 Gbit/s. These high-speed connectors are designed for industrial communications and networks, video surveillance and other applications requiring a fast reliable Ethernet connection.
- D-coded M12 connector is an industry standard interface for Ethernet and PROFINET industrial networks and meets Category 5e specifications. Designed for use in industrial automation environments or other harsh environment applications where a compact, robust, reliable connection is needed.
- Y- & T- Splitters with cable outlets. The so-called 2-way splitters have an extremely compact housing style and can be quite easily adapted to customer’s individual needs. Field wire able connectors and Splitters are used to build custom patch cables, provide a quick-disconnect for a device, terminate field devices on an I/O block, or bring multiple sensor signals into one port. Field attachable M8 connectors from Katlax provide customers a flexible solution to install and adapt their automation infrastructure to the requirements of their complex machines.
Many interested clients made use of the possibility to have the new X- and D-coded connectors presented to them by our sales team at our fair stand. On this occasion technical questions about our connectivity solution have been discussed in detail. Our 6th time presence in SPS was with ideally suitable location. As an independent brand we had respectable and well prepared visitor profile. We had very important meetings with leading French, German and Swiss companies as well as our old customers from Mexico, Europe and USA.
So overall we received a great positive response to our products and connectivity solutions.
