Katlax expanding its M8 portfolio with a compact moulded M8 A-Coded circular connector. The connector will have a new type of 360° EMC shielding, used for the first time in this environment. This shielding ensures exceptionally reliable protection against EMI in even the most challenging environments, making Katlax’s new connector ideal for use in complex sensor and machine vision technologies, as well as conveyer systems, robotics, and other industrial applications.

The shielding of the M8 connector is simplified with the use of wave shaped spring washer. While mated the connectors meet an IP67 rating. Male and female cable connectors are available with 3 or 4 gold-flashed contacts supporting up to 4 amps.

The new M8 cable connector is smaller size and lighter weight offerings, providing an option for applications with high performance needs where space is limited. As with many Katlax products, this connector can be customized.

The M8 A-coded shielded jacket connector provides a compact and robust solution for connecting sensors and actuators in industrial applications. The shielding helps to maintain signal integrity and minimize the risk of data corruption or transmission errors caused by EMI.
